Tales of Potty Training
We have officially started potty training at our house. Sam is pretty excited about being a big boy and having big boy underwear. He picked Thomas the Train because they are blue (his favorite color) and because the store didn't have any Star Wars underwear in his size.

Sam showing me and Marc his muscles. I wish you could see this face in person!

Sam was so excited everytime he did it that he would come running out of the bathroom spreading "other" excitement with him. This picture only shows the exciting toilet paper-there were other exciting things as well. Let's just say my biggest piece of advice so far would be to have a large supply of antibacterial wipes at your immediate disposal.

I was so proud of his efforts that I think I let his enthusiasm go a little too far.

The after effects of Sam's first day of potty training.
Ok, so potty training is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Marc and I have now decided that changing Sam's diaper is a lot easier. Good luck to the rest of you and your potty training tales...I have a feeling ours have only just begun. Posted by Picasa

Good job guys! I am impressed! That doesn't sound too bad for a first potty training experience. I am terrified of the whole thing. Maybe I will start when Ty is 5. Just kidding, but I really don't think diapers are that bad. They are easier than cleaning up messes, and washing sheets all the time. Hopefully I will get brave some day.
